The Air Force on Thursday announced that 456 enlisted airmen were chosen for supplemental promotion.

The list of selectees includes 289 chosen for staff sergeant, 93 chosen for technical sergeant, 72 chosen for master sergeant, and two chosen for senior master sergeant, according to an Air Force Personnel Center release.

The Air Force considers airmen for supplemental promotion when they test after the initial promotion selections have been made, were deployed, or were unable to test during their normal testing window.

AFPC provided the names of selected airmen to their senior raters, or other people the raters authorized to act on their behalf, 48 hours before they were publicly released. This allows leaders to tell airmen the good news themselves, and congratulate them publicly.

The list of selectees can be found here.
