Russia widened its military offensive in Ukraine on Friday, striking airfields in the west and an industrial city in the east for the first time.
President Joe Biden authorized a $200 million package of additional military assistance for Ukraine in recent weeks, the Pentagon confirmed.
First, it goes to close combat forces.
