Four crewmembers have safely evacuated a U.S. military jet that reported smoke in the cockpit while at George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston.

The Houston Fire Department on Thursday afternoon responded to the emergency call involving an Air Force DC-10.

Fire department officials say the plane carried four people and nobody was hurt. Authorities are trying to determine what prompted the reported smoke in the plane. Officials had no immediate reports of a fire on board.
