The commander of the 99th Security Forces Squadron at Nellis and Creech Air Force bases in Nevada was relieved of command last month.

Lt. Col. Jerald Allman was relieved on Oct. 16 by Col. Paul Murray, the commander of the 99th Air Base Wing, due to a loss of confidence, Nellis spokesman Tech. Sgt. Christopher Holmes said Monday.

Maj. John Hart assumed command of the 99th Security Forces Squadron on Oct. 17, Holmes said. Holmes would not provide any more details on what caused Murray to lose confidence in and relieve Allman.

The 99th Security Forces Squadron provides flightline security, police services, and antiterrorism and force protection services at both Nellis and Creech, according to Nellis’ website.
