An airman assigned to Cannon Air Force Base in New Mexico was found dead in his home Wednesday afternoon, the 27th Special Operations Wing said in a release issued late that evening.
The wing said the airman, who was assigned to the 27th at Cannon, was discovered by his roommate at about 2:45 p.m. local time.
His name is not being released until his next of kin has been notified, and no further details are available yet.
