An airman was arrested Tuesday on several child pornography charges, near Minot Air Force Base, North Dakota.
Airman 1st Class Jessi Sweig, 21, is being held at the Ward County Jail without bond, inmate roster documents show.
The Minot Police Department, in cooperation with the Air Force Office of Special Investigations, arrested Sweig on one count of promoting an obscene sexual performance by a minor and 10 counts of possession of child pornography.
A search warrant led to several seized electronic devices and numerous images of child pornography, Police Capt. John Klug said in a news release
Sweig will make his first court appearance Wednesday.
Sweig enlisted in the Air Force in 2014 and serves with the 5th Security Forces Squadron, according to the Air Force Personnel Center.
A spokesman for Minot AFB said Sweig lived off-base. The Minot Police Department has jurisdiction over the case.
