An Air Force captain will stand trial on charges of sexual assault and physically harming a child, the Judge Advocate General's office announced.

Capt. Abdulrazak Nuhu, assigned to Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Va., is accused of one count each of sexual assault through threat or fear, sexual assault causing bodily harm, assault consummated by a battery, assault consummated by a battery upon a child under 16 years, and child endangerment by culpable negligence resulting in harm, according to JAG records.

Air Force Times could not reach Nuhu nor his legal representative for comment, but was told that a statement may be released at a later date.

A court-martial is scheduled Nov. 16.

Nuhu is assigned to the 15th Intelligence Squadron at Langley-Eustis. He entered military service in May 2005 and was promoted to captain in February 2010, according to Air Force personnel records.
