The Air Force said Friday it has selected 250 captains in the Medical Services Corps and Nurse Corps for promotion to major, and another 16 lieutenant colonels in the medical category for promotion to colonel.

The major selectees include 198 nurses, and 52 MSC officers, according to statistics provided by the Air Force Personnel Center. There were no nurses who were considered for promotion to O-6.

AFPC said it provided the names of those who were selected to their senior raters in advance, so their commanders could give them the good news.

The promotion selections were made by the calendar year 19A Medical Service and Nurse Corps central selection boards.

The list of selectees can be found here.
