A technical sergeant faces three counts of sexual abuse for a lewd act with a child charges that he sexually abused a child by committing lewd acts with her, according to documents filed with the Judge Advocate General’s office.
Tech. Sgt. Todd Getz faces two counts of sexual abuse of a child with a lewd act, according to court records. One of the counts involves physical contact with the child.
Tech. Sgt. Todd Getz faces two counts related to The first two alleged incidents involving involved a girl under age 12 , and occurred between May 2013 and June 2013 at or near Columbus Air Force Base in Mississippi, JAG records show.
The third incident allegedly involved the same girl, then a girl under age 16, and occurred between September 2013 and May 2014 at or near Pasiano di Pordenone in northern Italy, according to court documents and information provided by Aviano Air Base, Italy.
One of the counts involves physical contact with the child.

Getz is stationed at Aviano, working as an airfield systems supervisor with as part of the 31st Operations Support Squadron at Aviano, according to Air Force personnel records. A spokesperson for Aviano said Getz’s legal defense team declined to comment on the charges.
According to Air Force records, Getz entered active duty in May 2003 and has received the Air Force Commendation Medal.
