Three airmen in Texas have been acquitted on charges of rape and other crimes, according to the Air Force.
Airmen 1st Class Juron Woods, Darnell Wilson and Thaddeus Alexander were accused of raping another airman first class while she was intoxicated.
Wilson and Alexander also faced additional charges that they drank alcohol, despite being under 21 years old at the time; and Alexander faced charges that he had taken drugs.
A spokesman from Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas, confirmed that the airmen were acquitted of the charges on May 13, but did not provide any further details.
Woods served with 59th Medical Diagnostics and Therapeutics Squadron, Wilson with 802nd Security Forces Squadron and Alexander with 2nd Air Force, Technical Training Operations Center, Detachment 1, according to court records.
