The Army wants ”candid feedback” on its housing services, and many Army families already have a way to provide it, sitting in their email box.

The service rolled out a survey of on-post and leased housing residents this week, with one member of each household expected to receive an email inviting them to participate, per a December news release.

A post on Army Housing’s official Facebook feed confirmed the survey’s launch, stating that emails were en route to those in on-post, government-owned housing.

Families who aren’t invited to participate by midweek next week can contact their local housing office for assistance. The survey will be open through Feb. 22 and will poll respondents on their personal housing situations, dealings with the Army Housing Office, and what military families “find valuable” in Army-managed housing, per the release.

“We need your candid feedback,” said Lt. Gen. Kenneth Dahl, head of the Army’s Installation Management Command, in the release. “All surveys are confidential, and your frank feedback will ensure your voice is heard.”
