A captain at Royal Air Force Mildenhall, England, was acquitted of all charges during a court-martial hearing in August 2015.
Capt. Seth Ratner, 351st Air Refueling Squadron, faced charges of sexual assault, assault consummated by battery, and fraternization, but was acquitted of all the charges by a military judge during the trial at the RAF base.
The Air Force currently does not report the names of airmen who are acquitted of crimes, making it difficult for the public to learn the results of some trials. Air Force Times was only able to learn some airmen were acquitted because they contacted Air Force Times, or by speaking with their attorneys, family members and close friends.
