The Air Force can now launch a 30-day deployment of four HH-60Ws anywhere in the world.

Women can apply to OTS while carrying a child and head to training six months after their pregnancy ends.

The trial of the explosive ordnance disposal technician is slated to run March 6-16 at Hill Air Force Base, Utah.

“If we pay attention to this as leaders, we can make a difference,” Secretary Frank Kendall said.

Air Force leaders have sought a larger role in the joint force for several years.
