Rep. Rob Wittman said he expects a short-term budget deal for federal spending to be finalized before the end of the month.
The congressman also worries the latest TR-3 deadline of mid-2024 could slip further: “I want to be positive, but call me skeptical."
"Congress needs to do its job" and pass budgets on time, Rep. Rob Wittman, R-Va., said. “If we did our jobs, you wouldn’t need quickstart provisions.”
She would replace Gina Ortiz Jones, who left the leadership post in March.
