Former acting Defense Secretary Christopher Miller is scheduled to testify next week about the Pentagon's role in responding to the deadly Jan. 6 riot at the Capitol.
Timothy Hale-Cusanelli, 30, was employed as a security contractor at a Navy base when he was alleged to have breached the Capitol on Jan. 6, authorities said.
Police officials suggested that the fence remain in place until September, in part because investigators are tracking continuing threats against lawmakers and the Capitol complex.
During the deadly riot Wednesday, retired Air Force Lt. Col. Larry Rendall Brock Jr. was photographed on the Senate floor wearing a helmet and heavy vest and carrying zip-tie handcuff.
