The next chief of staff of the Air Force, Gen. Charles "CQ" Brown, said Bass has the experience for the job and a leadership style that matches his own.
“We’re at 110 percent every single day,” a military training instructor said. “Coming home after 10-plus hours being out in the heat, drilling, marching trainees ... After three years, the burnout is kind of real.”
The Air Force is launching a new pilot training program that will include enlisted airmen — and could eventually lead to enlisted flying combat aircraft.
