The Air Force is encouraging units to recognize the achievements of enlisted airmen as they become noncommissioned officers.
Flosi was the “clear choice” among the Air Force’s “most highly respected” enlisted leaders, the service said.
"If we pay attention to this as leaders, we can make a difference," Secretary Frank Kendall said.
Space Force officials are also trying to bake personalization and flexibility into the assignment process.
