A jury has found a former Roman Catholic priest and retired Air Force chaplain, who was extradited from Morocco last September, guilty of sexually abusing an altar boy at Kirtland Air Force Base, a veterans' cemetery and other locations New Mexico in the early 1990s.
Charges against an airman at Luke Air Force Base, who was accused of child abuse and second-degree murder in the death of his infant son, have been dismissed.
Staff Sgt. John Centano, a maintainer with the 61st Aircraft Maintenance Squadron at Luke Air Force Base in Arizona, has been arrested and accused of murdering his three-month-old son.
