Smith faced off against undefeated welterweight champion Sean Brady in Shogun Fights’ main event at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida.
Brady won all three rounds, with Smith fighting until the bell each time, and took home a unanimous decision victory.
Smith could not immediately be reached, but he shared some thoughts on Facebook.
“Win streak snapped at 4,” Smith wrote. “Tough fight, hats off to my opponent for capitalizing and fighting his fight. I’m good to go and will get back to the drawing board. Thank you to our Lord and Savior first for allowing us to engage in the sport we love and to my family, friends, and fans for all of the support throughout the years.”
He also posted his takeaways from the fight on Twitter, sharing three things he needs to improve and three that he did well on, including, “don’t get taken down and your shorts won’t fall off!”
It looks like Smith took the loss well and is moving on to train for his next fight.
“After a lackluster performance I found solace in the fact that my once a year blackjack playing bender ended in me beating the House!” he wrote on Twitter.
