A C-17 Globemaster III made an emergency landing at McGhee Tyson Air National Guard Base in Tennessee Friday afternoon.

The emergency landing was due to a pressurization issue, according to social media posts by the Globemaster’s home base.

The aircraft is assigned to the 315th Airlift Wing, a reserve unit out of Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina.

There are no injuries reported at this time, and “emergency vehicles were called out of an abundance of caution,” according to the base’s tweet.

The incident is under investigation.

According to the Associated Press, the plane was making a flight from Maryland to Texas when it was forced to make the emergency landing in the Knoxville, Tennessee, area.

Maj. Wayne Capps, chief of public affairs at the 315th Airlift Wing, told the Charleston Post and Courier that seven personnel were on board, which includes six flying crew and one flying crew chief.
