HEBER CITY, Utah — The Air Force has settled on a location to develop a four-star hotel in Utah catering to members of the military.

The Salt Lake Tribune reported Saturday that the Air Force and a state agency will build on six acres in Wasatch County, according to public records.

However, officials have no idea when construction would begin.

The planned hotel would be near Park City's ski resorts and have reduced rates for military personnel and retirees.

The Utah Military Installation Development Authority and the Air Force have spent the last 14 years searching for a spot.

Hill Air Force Base officials say the project is similar to hotels the Army runs in Orlando, Florida, and Honolulu.

The military considers such hotels a morale boost.
