The Air Force on Thursday announced that it has selected 2,001 enlisted airmen for supplemental promotions.

The Air Force Personnel Center said its master list identifies 1,385 airmen chosen for promotion to staff sergeant, 398 chosen for promotion to technical sergeant, 192 chosen for promotion to master sergeant, and 21 for promotion to senior master sergeant. The list of names provided by AFPC also shows two were selected for chief master sergeant.

Not all selectees were identified in the list because some are in career fields requiring secrecy, AFPC said, so the number of airmen identified falls slightly short of the 2,001 total.

Airmen selected for supplemental promotion typically test outside of their required cycle due to an extended temporary duty assignment or deployment to support contingency operations.

The list of selectees can be found here.
