The Air Force Personnel Center on Wednesday released the schedule for selection boards in 2018 for officer and senior noncommissioned officer promotions.

The board schedule includes evaluation boards for master sergeants, senior master sergeants and chief master sergeants, as well as officer selection boards, SNCO supplemental boards, special selection boards, and a command screening board in August.

In a release, AFPC said that the timing of the officer boards could change if the number of officers in each year group changes, to make sure the Air Force doesn't promote more airmen than they're required to have in each rank.

"This adjustment ensures all officers in the year groups being considered will have the legally required three years' time in grade when meeting their primary zone promotion board," AFPC said.

The board schedule can be found here.
