The Air Force on Friday provided a sneak peek of the support it will provide during the 58th presidential inauguration.

With the swearing-in of President-elect Donald Trump and Vice President-elect Mike Pence just one week away, the Air Force hosted members of the media for a demo day Friday at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland.

From ceremonial units, such as the Air Force Band and Honor Guard, to those tasked with mitigating any threats, approximately 1,000 airmen will provide support for the inaugural parade and cordon on Jan. 20.

Another 300 members of the Air Force will offer behind-the-scenes support.

The media day included the Air Force component of the inaugural parade, a military working dog demonstration and an example of explosive detection from an EOD team.
