Air Force releases staff sgt. promotion list

The Air Force on Thursday released the list of airmen chosen for staff sergeant promotion.

The list is now available on the Air Force Personnel Center’s public website. 18. Airmen can access their score notices on the Virtual Military Personnel Flight and Air Force Portal.

Officials selected 13,518 of the 28,510 eligible senior airmen, or about 47 percent. Those chosen will be promoted starting in September according to their promotion sequence number.

Chosen airmen had an average 1.97 years in grade and 4.55 years in service.

Their average score was 282.88: 131.31 for enlisted performance reports, 0.94 for decorations, 71.18 for the promotion fitness examination and 59.08 for the specialty knowledge test.
