HILL AIR FORCE BASE, Utah — Air traffic is about to increase at Hill Air Force Base and Utah's military test range in the west desert.
The base is hosting two combat training sessions, which start Friday and run through Aug. 20. Officials say neighbors can expect to see and hear more fighters in the air during the "Combat Hammer" and "Combat Archer" maneuvers.
Eight units from other bases will be deployed to Utah for the training, which allows the Air Force to evaluate weapons systems and keep air crews sharp.
