Reservist medics treat 8,000 in Dominican tour

DOVER AIR FORCE BASE, Del. — Thirty-eight Air Force Reserve medics gave free medical care to more than 8,000 patients in the Dominican Republic this month.
The airmen from the 512th Aerospace Medicine Squadron at Dover and other reservists from across the country worked with medical personnel from the Dominican military to provide care to residents of Constanza.
The medical care team, which included family medicine, optometry, dental services, pediatrics and women’s health providers, treated patients at four clinics set up in schools.
