FlightLines: Schwartz elaborates on gay ban

Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. Norton Schwartz made news recently when he told the House Armed Services Committee that repealing the military’s “don’t ask, don’t tell” in a time of war would be disruptive. “This is not the time to perturb the force that is at this moment stretched by demands in Iraq and Afghanistan and elsewhere without careful deliberation,” Schwartz said.
