Second arrest in theft from AF widow

Colorado authorities have arrested a second suspect accused of breaking into an Air Force widow’s car while she was on her way to her husband’s memorial service.
Dwain Boyd, 22, was found Tuesday and charged with theft, trespassing, conspiracy and obstruction. Denard Thompson, 29, was arrested Feb. 12.
The men allegedly stole a watch, a digital camera, two laptop computers and Senior Airman Bradley Smith’s dog tags from the vehicle of Tiffany Smith while she was eating lunch Feb. 9 at a restaurant in Colorado Springs, Colo.
Bradley Smith was killed Jan. 3 by a bomb blast in Afghanistan.
The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office had not recovered the stolen items as of Thursday, but spokeswoman Lt. Lari Sevene said authorities were still tracking down some leads.
