Employer award nominations due Jan. 18

Nominations for the 2010 Secretary of Defense Employer Support Freedom Award must be submitted by Jan. 18.
The award, given out by the Defense Department agency Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, recognizes employers who go above and beyond in their support of employees who serve in the National Guard and Reserve.
Nearly 2,000 nominations have already been submitted, according to ESGR. Fifteen recipients of the 2010 award will be announced this spring.
