Names of chief master sergeant picks released

The Air Force has released the names of eligible senior master sergeants selected for promotion to chief master sergeant.
Officials selected 475 of 2,276 eligible senior master sergeants for promotion. The senior master sergeants selected will be promoted according to their sequence number beginning in January.
Here are some of the selection statistics.
* The selection rate was 20.87 percent.
* The average score for those selected was 662.78.
* The average time in grade was 3.4 years and the average time in service was 23.23 years.
* The average score for decorations was 24.49.
* The average score was based on the following point averages: 135 for enlisted performance reports, 63.57 for the Air Force supervisory exam and a board score of 388.58.
