Sgt. pleads guilty to child porn charges

RAPID CITY, S.D. — An Air Force sergeant charged with possessing child pornography has pleaded guilty to three counts, and two other counts have been dropped.
Pennington County authorities say they found videos on 31-year-old Timothy Taylor's laptop showing children involved in sex acts.
Taylor, of Box Elder, said he downloaded other pornography and did not realize the child material was there until later. He said his wife turned it in to authorities before he could delete it.
Taylor faces up to 30 years in prison and $60,000 in fines.
