Ogden changing command

The command of Ogden Air Logistics Center at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, changes Friday.
Maj. Gen. Kathleen D. Close will relinquish leadership of the depot to Maj. Gen. -select Andrew E. Busch.
The center provides logistics management, engineering, supply, contracting and depot maintenance for a wide variety of aircraft including the A-10 and F-16.
The center’s commander is responsible for four wings: the 75th Air Base Wing, 84th Combat Sustainment Wing, 309th Maintenance Wing and the 508th Aerospace Sustainment Wing.
Busch comes to Ogden from Richmond, Va., where he was in charge of the Defense Supply Center Richmond.
Close leaves to become the director of logistics and sustainment at Air Force Materiel Command headquarters at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.
