Overseas assignments from Andersen to Zama
Posted : Thursday Nov 6, 2008 8:04:46 EST
Feeling restless at your CONUS base? There might be a job for you on the latest Overseas Enlisted Quarterly Assignment Listing Schedule.
Hundreds of spots are available to enlisted airmen around the world — in well-known spots like Germany, South Korea and England, and more isolated outposts like Greenland, Diego Garcia and Wake Island.
The list breaks down positions by Air Force Specialty Code, rank and base.
Airmen interested in pursuing an overseas assignment have until Nov. 20 to submit their preferences to the Personnel Center. Airmen will learn by Dec. 15 if they have been selected.
Being the first airman to apply for a position does not assure that you will get it. You will compete with other qualified airmen.
For details on how to apply, airmen can contact their personnel office or search the Personnel Center’s Web site at http://ask.afpc.randolph.af.mil/.
