Ex-Reserve chief gets letter of admonishment

An Air Force inspector general investigation recently substantiated two personnel-related complaints against Lt. Gen. John A. Bradley.
Bradley received a letter of admonishment regarding the complaints, which an Air Force official described as minor personnel issues involving the creation of a full-time military position and an extension of a mandatory separation date.
Bradley acted on the advice of his personnel staff, the official said, and it turned out that advice was improper.
No further information on the complaints is available.
Bradley stepped down June 24 as chief of the Air Force Reserve and commander of Air Force Reserve Command, a change of command not related to the investigation.
Bradley’s retirement, previously scheduled for June 24, was held up because of the investigation. Now that it is resolved, he will likely retire during the next few weeks, the official said.
