40 extra airmen selected for NCO in June

About 40 enlisted airmen learned June 12 they’ll get to sew on the stripes.

The airmen were selected for promotion to noncommissioned officer ranks — from staff sergeant to chief master sergeant.

Their selection came through the supplemental selection process that allows airmen who were not able to test for promotion at their rank’s regular dates to test at later times.
