GREAT FALLS, Mont. — Nearly 200 members of the 120th Fighter Wing of the Montana Air National Guard are scheduled to return home next week from their deployment at Balad Air Base, Iraq.
About half of the airmen will return Tuesday to Great Falls. The remaining guardsmen are set to return Wednesday.
“They are currently doing ‘swap-out’ procedures with those members that will be taking over their positions,” said Senior Master Sgt. Dawn Hangen, a noncommissioned officer in charge of plans and mobility.
The guardsmen will have some time off before returning to facilities on Gore Hill on May 1 to check in, Hangen said.
