The chief has a blog

What keeps the Air Force’s most powerful man up at night?

Proposed tanker aircraft, congressional funding and musings on the airman’s self-image.

That’s what Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. T. Michael Moseley says on his new blog of sorts.

Called “Chief’s Scope,” it’s Moseley’s online platform for quick thoughts and updates.

The Web site will be updated roughly once a week or as inspiration strikes, said Maj. Aaron Burgstein, an Air Force spokesman based at the Pentagon.

“It’s all outreach,” Burgstein said. “The chief wants to be able to communicate with every single airman.”

The posts Moseley doesn’t personally write will get his direct approval, Burgstein said. There are seven entries so far.
