SCHWARTZ’S 1st ANNIVERSARY

He is not respected and quite frankly disdained by many in the officer corps. He plans to gut the fighter force and hedge the entire bet on the F-35. He literally expects the F-35 to be 100% operational right off the assembly line. I was part of the bed down for the F-15E & F-22A. Nothing goes according to plan and it takes years to work the bugs out of a new system.

All show and no go as far as this officer/pilot is concerned; ie, Blues Monday (what a ridiculous joke), crappy uniforms after years of supposed high-dollar study. Yet, our primary USAF focus has been largely ignored: (first night of any major war/campaign air scenario), the aircraft we might be using are old and/or underfunded and underpurchased. God help the Army and Marines if another large war starts and our aircraft are not up to snuff for the first night of bunker-busting, missile-dancing and tank-plinking.
