Service programs — Marine Corps Reserve
Voluntary educational programs for reservists come under the Corps’ Lifelong Learning Programs.
The Montgomery GI Bill Kicker Program is available to Marine Reserves in high-priority units or critical career fields. They must agree to a six-year enlistment in the skill or unit. The Marine Corps will allow reservists to re-enlist up to two years early to get this benefit.
The Marine Corps Reserve Kicker adds up to an additional $350 per month in GI Bill payments.
