Chief of Staff Gen. Mark Welsh on Friday announced three general officer moves:
Col. Mark Baird, selected for the grade of brigadier general, becomes commander, Air Force Installation Contracting Agency, Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. He was senior materiel leader and director, Space Superiority Systems Directorate, Space and Missile Systems Center, Air Force Space Command, Los Angeles Air Force Base, California.
Brig. Gen. Thomas Gibson becomes vice commander, U.S. Air Force Expeditionary Center, Air Mobility Command, Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey. He was director, Joint Integration, Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations, Plans and Requirements, at Air Force headquarters, Pentagon.
Brig. Gen. Kenneth Todorov becomes deputy director, Missile Defense Agency, Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics, Fort Belvoir, Virginia. He was director, Joint Integrated Air and Missile Defense Organization, J-8, Joint Staff, Pentagon.
