Five airmen found guilty of sexual offenses in January received sentences ranging from no jail time to 20 years in prison, the most recent list of sex crime convictions in the Air Force shows.

Only one of the five, Senior Airman Jerrod Jones of Pope Field, N.C., was spared a discharge at sentencing. Jones was found guilty Jan. 9 of sexually assaulting a female Air Force Reserve technician during a party at her off-base home a year ago, the Air Force reported. He was sentenced to three months of hard labor, restriction to base for two months and reduction to E-2.

Twenty-four airmen have been convicted of sexual offenses since the Air Force began publishing the monthly list in September, one of many recent efforts undertaken by the service to hold perpetrators accountable.

The other January cases:

■ Senior Airman Jory Hodge, Grand Forks Air Force Base, N.D., convicted Jan. 13 of two specifications each of rape and unlawful communication of a threat and one specification each of forcible sodomy, assault consummated by a battery and burglary with the intent to commit rape, the Air Force said. Hodge beat, raped and threatened to kill the wife of a deployed airman after breaking into the couple’s on-base home in August, according to the service.

Military judge Col. Natalie Richardson ordered Hodge to serve 34 years in prison, but the sentence was capped at 20 years in exchange for his guilty pleas, according to a base news release. Hodge was also busted to airman basic and will be dishonorably discharged from the Air Force after his release from prison.

■ Staff Sgt. Stanley Ewan, Fort Meade, Md., convicted Jan. 14 of two specifications each of rape and aggravated sexual assault and one specification of adultery. According to the Air Force, Ewan raped his now ex-wife and sexually assaulted a female relative multiple times between 2009 and 2011. He was acquitted of forcible sodomy and possession of child pornography.

Ewan was sentenced to 16 years confinement, reduction to E-1 and a dishonorable discharge.

■ Senior Airman Zachary Walker, Barksdale Air Force Base, La., convicted Jan. 18 of sexual assault. In August 2012, Walker sexually assaulted a female airman whom he had previously dated, the Air Force said. Walker was sentenced to 18 months confinement, forfeiture of all pay and allowances, reduction to E-1 and a dishonorable discharge.

■ Airman 1st Class Michael Habbe, McConnell Air Force Base, Kan., convicted Jan. 29 of sexual assault and abusive sexual contact. Habbe sexually assaulted two sleeping female airmen after a party at an off-base residence, according to the Air Force. He was acquitted of two specifications of indecent viewing.

Habbe was sentenced to four months confinement, reduction to E-1 and a bad conduct discharge.
