A C-5B military transport airplane en route from Ramstein Air Base, Germany, to Dover Air Force Base, Del., was diverted to Westover Air Reserve Base in Massachusetts on Saturday after it suffered a loss of pressure over the Atlantic Ocean.
The plane, carrying 25 crew and passengers, lost pressure shortly after 11 a.m. while flying at 34,000 feet. It landed safely at Westover at 2:29 p.m.
In an online statement, Westover said a young female was taken to the hospital with a minor injury. No other injuries were reported and no in-flight emergency was declared.
Westover said it had deployed emergency crews as a standard safety measure.
The plane is assigned to the 439th Airlift Wing, Westover.
