TUCSON, ARIZ. — The U.S. Air Force is looking into the death of an airman at a base in southern Arizona.

Officials say the airman was found dead Friday night at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson.

The airman’s name has not been released, but officials confirmed the airman was assigned to the 2nd Combat Weather Systems Squadron based at Hurlburt Field in Florida.

Officials provided few details, and said Saturday that the cause of death remained under investigation.
