Military customers get 10-cent per gallon gas discount

Jun. 28, 2013 - 06:00AM   |

Military customers who use their Military Star card can get 10 cents off per gallon at gas stations on Army and Air Force bases from July 1 through July 4.

Any authorized exchange customer is eligible for the discount, as long as you have the Military Star card. The fuel discount is available only on Army and Air Force bases, but shoppers from any branch of service can shop at any exchange facility on any installation.

The 10-cent discount doubles the usual 5 cents off per gallon offered year-round on fuel purchases using the Military Star card.

To get maximum mileage out of the discount, don’t forget to pay off the card at the end of the month to avoid interest charges.
