FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Another search is planned for a missing Fort Bragg soldier who disappeared more than a year ago.
The Fayetteville Observer reported that a search will be held Saturday for 24-year-old Kelli Bordeaux.
She was last seen April 14, 2012, leaving a bar. The Army recently declared Bordeaux legally dead, making her family eligible for survivor’s benefits.
Saturday’s search is coordinated by a Raleigh man who has been involved in other searches for missing people.
A news release says volunteers and cadaver dogs are needed. Volunteers should meet at 9 a.m. Saturday at a Marathon Gas Station on Ramsey Street off Elliott Bridge Road.
Bordeaux grew up in St. Cloud, Fla.
Volunteers should bring a backpack with supplies such as food, insect repellent and sunscreen, and dress for tough conditions.
