PHILADELPHIA — Philadelphia police are seeking six suspects who beat and robbed a disabled war veteran during a home invasion.

It happened early Monday in northeast Philadelphia. Police said that just after midnight, the suspects came to the man’s door, and he buzzed them in because he thought he knew them.

Police said the 58-year-old Marine, who is bedridden, was dragged from his bed and beaten while a gun was held to his head. The suspects stole a TV, cash, jewelry and the man’s medication before fleeing.

The victim was treated at scene for cuts and bruises.

No arrests were immediately announced.
