MACDILL AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. — Officials at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa said an airman has died in an industrial accident.

Emily Elizabeth Clayburn of Palatine Bridge, N.Y., was crushed to death when a 2,400-pound aircraft refueling boom fell on her Monday at the base. She was a member of the 6th Air Mobility Wing.
Col. Scott DeThomas, who commands the 6th Air Mobility Wing, http://www.tampabay.com/news/publicsafety/accidents/air-force-sergeant-dies-in-macdill-air-force-base-accident/1270768">said Clayburn will be missed by everyone in the wing and all who had the chance to serve with her.
The cause of the accident is under investigation. No further details were provided.
