An airman was court-martialed on charges that he bragged he would intentionally fail his PT test, get involuntarily separated and collect benefits. He then failed the test.
The airman was acquitted of all charges. But did his case open the door for more airmen to be prosecuted for PT failures? Do you think other commanders who believe an airman isn't trying hard enough will choose this type of disciplinary action? Does it change your view of the PT program?
