Chief of Staff Gen. Mark Welsh on Wednesday told commanders and supervisors throughout the Air Force to conduct a widespread sweep of all work spaces and public areas looking for pictures, calendars and other materials that objectify women. Inspections must be completed by Dec. 17.

Has your unit been inspected? If so, we'd like to find out what sorts of items your commander found. Send your comments to staff writer"> from reader">Kristin Davis. Please include your name, rank and base. We may use your comments in a story.

Also, a technical sergeant filed an administrative complaint against the Air Force after leadership failed to remove violent and sexually explicit materials she found on a server at Shaw Air Force Base, S.C. The advocacy group Protect Our Defenders has posted">some of the material on its website. (Warning: Elements may be disturbing.)

We'd like to hear your reaction to these materials and if you've seen similar material. What would you do if you found something similar in your work area?

Send your comments to"> from reader">Kristin Davis.
